ORR Shared 460000 Leads With ICE Leading To 12000 Arrests

A protective agency's sponsor and household data collected for safe placement is now routed as investigative leads to immigration enforcement altering the discharge mechanism itself.

Reuters reviewed internal data showing ORR shared more than 460,000 leads with ICE since January 2025 leading to more than 12,000 arrests while average child custody time rose from about 30 days to 194 days.
